  • Mobile Services Maintenance works

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its roaming mobile data network on Wednesday 11 October 2017. The works will commence at 01:00 and are expected to be completed by 06:00.

     

    During this time, Gibtelecom customers who are roaming may experience minor service disruption affecting data services. Voice and SMS services will not be affected. Customers in the Gibtelecom network in Gibraltar will not be affected by these works.

     

    Gibtelecom apologises for any inconvenience these essential works may cause. Customers requiring further information are asked to call Gibtelecom’s 24/7 Network Operations Centre on 20052200.

  • Mobile data works

    03 October 2017 1.00am

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its mobile data network on Tuesday 3 October 2017. The works will commence at 01:00 and are expected to be completed by 06:00.

     

    During this time, Gibtelecom customers may be temporarily disconnected from their data sessions for a period of up to a minute. This will affect pay monthly plan customers only. Reload customers will remain unaffected. 

     

    Gibtelecom apologises for any inconvenience these essential works may cause. Customers requiring further information are asked to call Gibtelecom’s 24/7 Network Operations Centre on 20052200.

     

  • Mobile roaming - maintenance works

    26 September 2017 1.00am

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its roaming mobile data network on Tuesday 26 September 2017. The works will commence at 01:00 and are expected to be completed by 06:00.

     

    During this time, Gibtelecom customers who are roaming may experience minor service disruption affecting data services. Voice and SMS services will not be affected. Customers in the Gibtelecom network in Gibraltar will not be affected by these works.

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its mobile network on Thursday 14 September 2017. The works will commence at 01:00hrs and are expected to be completed by 06:00hrs.

     

    During this time, mobile customers will experience service disruption for short periods affecting 3G voice and data services only. All other mobile services will continue to work uninterrupted.

  • Mobile works

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out maintenance works on its mobile network on Thursday 3 August 2017. The works will commence at 00:01 and are expected to be completed by 06:00.

     

    During this time, Gibtelecom reload customers may experience disruption to the purchase of data and SMS bundles. Customers may also experience some interruption to mobile data services.

     

    Gibtelecom apologises for any inconvenience these essential works may cause and will endeavour to minimise disruption to customers as much as possible. Customers requiring further information are asked to call Gibtelecom’s 24/7 Network Operations Centre on 20052200.

  • Cable cut

    28 June 2017 7.00am

    A major fibre cable was cut by another utility carrying out maintenance works.

     

    This caused some mobile service issues and internet downtime at Regal House.

     

    Whilst this breakage was outside of Gibtelecom's control, we have dispatched engineers to the site immediately and hope to have full service restored as quickly as possible.
