If you are switching to Gibtelecom from another provider there is no need to contact your current provider – we’ll do this for you. You can keep your phone number too.
Apply online or in person at our Customer Service Centre at 15/21 John Mackintosh Square.
We’ll contact you once your services are connected and ready to use.
In order to apply we’ll need photographic ID (passport or ID card). If you are applying online you’ll need to upload a high resolution photo or scanned copy of your ID document.
If you want to set up payment by Direct Debit you will also need to provide us with your bank account details.
There are no connection fees for any of Gibtelecom’s residential products.
If you are paying by direct debit there are no deposits required.
If you are not paying by direct debit and you’ve lived in Gibraltar for less than 5 years you will need to pay a £50 refundable deposit.
If you choose to apply in person, visit our Customer Service Centre at 15/21 John Mackintosh Square where one of our reps will help you complete your application form and process your details. They will be able to advise you on the services available and once the application is completed we will connect your line as soon as possible.

If you are an old age pensioner (OAP) on rent relief simply provide us with a letter from the Ministry for Housing verifying this. This will entitle you to free replacement of faulty phones due to wear and tear and £4.50 of free calls each month.
There are no connection fees or deposits for customers who pay by Direct Debit.
Direct Debit gives you the peace of mind that your bills are paid automatically each month, without having to worry about having services disconnected for non-payment.
You also get the added bonus of free landline rental for the first 2 months after setting up your Direct Debit.
New customers can set up direct debit as part of the online application process.
