  • Mobile works

    03 August 2017 12.01am

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out maintenance works on its mobile network on Thursday 3 August 2017. The works will commence at 00:01 and are expected to be completed by 06:00.

     

    During this time, Gibtelecom reload customers may experience disruption to the purchase of data and SMS bundles. Customers may also experience some interruption to mobile data services.

     

    Gibtelecom apologises for any inconvenience these essential works may cause and will endeavour to minimise disruption to customers as much as possible. Customers requiring further information are asked to call Gibtelecom’s 24/7 Network Operations Centre on 20052200.

  • Cable cut

    28 June 2017 7.00am

    A major fibre cable was cut by another utility carrying out maintenance works.

     

    This caused some mobile service issues and internet downtime at Regal House.

     

    Whilst this breakage was outside of Gibtelecom's control, we have dispatched engineers to the site immediately and hope to have full service restored as quickly as possible.

    Install the new carrier bundle released on the 5th of June

  • Mobile Roaming Services Maintenance Works

    01 June 2017 1.00am

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its roaming mobile data network on Thursday 1 June 2017. The works will commence at 01:00 and are expected to be completed by 06:00.

     

    During this time, Gibtelecom customers who are roaming may experience minor service disruption affecting data services. Voice and SMS services will not be affected. Customers in the Gibtelecom network in Gibraltar will not be affected by these works.

     

    Gibtelecom apologises for any inconvenience these essential works may cause and will endeavour to minimise disruption to customers as much as possible. Customers requiring further information are asked to call Gibtelecom’s 24/7 Network Operations Centre on 20052200.

     

  • 3G Maintenance works

    26 May 2017 12.30am

    Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its 3G mobile network on Friday 26 May 2017. The works will commence at 00:30hrs and are expected to be completed by 04:00hrs.

     

    During this time, mobile customers may experience service disruption for short periods affecting 3G voice and data services only. All other mobile services will continue to work uninterrupted.

    During this time, customers in the South District area will experience service disruption to mobile services.
